A Chinese hongmu scholar's stand, 19th century length 44cm

Several light surface scratches to the surface, as well as discolouration and a ring is visible just off centre. There is a gap at one of the top corner joins, the support is missing from the underside, leaving a strip of glue visible and an empty slot either side. Two of the corner supports to the underside appear to be replace. Glue residue is visible at two of the stretcher joins on the corners. There are several minor nicks and scuffs
