Lot 199 , A gramophone with brass horn
A gramophone with brass horn
Estimate £100-150
The horn has spotted tarnish throughout and several dents and creases. The needle arm is loose and held on by wire. The oak box has numerous repairs and restoration and has been nailed shut and is unaccessible so we are unsure whether the movement is present or working. There are two spare holes on one side of the gramophone with an oval mark around it where we believe the arm has been removed and re-attached on the other side and there is a spare hole on the other side where the crank would have been. We believe this object is purely decorative
