Two Japanese ivory netsukes of a seated woman, Meiji period, the first figure wrapped in a robe, signed to a mother-of-pearl tablet, 3.8cm the second a woman smoking a pipe, seated on a bundle of wood, with hardstone inlay, signed to a red lacquer seal, losses, 3.8cm

Netsuke of a seated woman wrapped in a robe is in good condition with no restoration or chips, there is some occasional fine hairline age cracks or scratches difficult to say and it is signed to a mother of pearl tablet, the second netsuke of a lady seated on a bundle of wood has a loss to the central section of her pipe and chip loss to the toes on her left foot, there are also some imperfections in the ivory.
