Grande Libellule/Large Dragonfly. A glass mascot by René Lalique, introduced on 23/5/1928, No.1145 in clear and frosted glass with a slight amethyst tint, signed engraved 'R.LALIQUE FRANCE' in capitals to the tail and also a faint 'R.LALIQUE' signature to the side above the circular base with 'FRANCE' opposite, with contemporary ring mount and later marble plinth Height with ring 20.5cm, overall 22.5cm.
