Two Chinese famille rose porcelain landscape plaques, Republic period, each painted with ships on a river in a mountainous landscape, red seal marks lower right, the plaques approximately 26cm x 38.5cm, the wood frames 36cm x 49cm

Provenance: From a local private collection inherited from English family who left Hong Kong in the early 1950's.
Both porcelain plaques have occasional minor scratches to the glaze, please note as they are fixed into the frames we are not able to examine the edges but there is no evidence of damage that we can see, the owner did have the wood frames restored but they are original to the porcelain plaques.
