A Japanese Satsuma pottery koro and cover, Meiji period, finely decorated with a procession of figures on a gilt dot work ground, brocade pattern borders, gilt seven character mark to base, diameter 8.5cm

There appear to be small chip losses to the three leaves supporting the bud finial on the cover, otherwise in good condition with fine crazing to the glaze, no restoration or cracks detected.
