Two Japanese Satsuma pottery koros and covers, signed Kinkozan, Meiji period, the first of compressed globular form decorated with a band of figures, the domed cover with shi-shi finial and a cellular ground, gilt signature Kinkozan Tsukuru, height 6.8cm, the second of compressed beehive form decorated with a procession of figures to a central band with brocade borders, the domed cover with shi-shi finial, impressed mark Kinkozan zo, cover broken and re-glued, height 9.2cm,

The squat and smaller koro and cover is a little grubby and has some light wear to the gilding and tiny patches, otherwise in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks, the larger koro and cover has a cover that has been broken in half and reglued with tiny splintering around the area, two of three feet have shallow chips to the tips, there is some light staining and minor wear to the gilding otherwise in good condition.
