A Japanese ivory and bone Ojime bead necklace, late 19th century, composed of 12 eliptical ivory ojime carved and pierced with figures, each 2cm, and 12 globular bone ojime relief carved with figures, each approx. 1.2cm

The ojime are mounted on a late Victorian / Edwardian gilt metal chain, the ojime are basically all in good condition, some with some grubbiness and light wear to the relief decoration, the bone or stag horn ojime have some fine occasional age cracks.
