A George III style mahogany eight day chiming bracket clock, the arched dial with strike silent, slow fast and eight bells / Westminster selectors, movement striking on eight bells and five gongs, 26in.

This clocks look to be in honest original untouched condition, overall of an even dark rich mahogany colour, finials showing a little light rubbing from polishing, one short split running in the case just above 12 o'clock, slight rubbing to the gilding around the door, dial all looks original with one or two dirt marks and some oxidisation to the silvering, side panels have the gilding worn away, back grille to the back door pushed in and dented, movement looks original and intact, some signs of oxidisation scattered throughout, comes with a case key and pendulum but no winding key, backplate stamped 2045, clamp for the pendulum is missing, movement is fusee driven.
