Set of eight dining chairs in rosewood which have now faded to a reddish mahogany tone, some a little more faded than others, three of the eight are a little wobbly in the joints, but otherwise the set look to be in good order, caning to the seats is all good but in various stages of staining, two of them look to be relatively recently redone, no sign of breaks or repairs to the legs, one or two of the cresting rails are a little wobbly and rotate in their sockets, one chair is missing a brass disc from the top of the stile, another has a fine incised scratch line running around the turning on the top rail but overall fair to good order. These chairs are made from solid rosewood.
