Large oil on canvas in good clean condition, hint of a stretcher mark showing running vertically down the middle of the canvas and a feint trace of a horizontal line running from approx 2 o'clock in towards the centre of the canvas (approx. 2 inches above the wave line) that may be some previous flaw in the canvas or paint, one small retouch to the paint dead centre of the canvas which shows up as it is not varnished, signed lower left, housed in an ornate oakleaf moulded gesso frame which has been regilded at some point.
