Oil on original canvas which is very slightly saggy and showing hints of stretcher marks around the sides and vertically through the centre, one small patch that has been retouched to good effect and is very hard to spot from the front, otherwise a little fine craquelure running through the paint just starting to lift in the white of the clouds but stable elsewhere, also looking rather dirty so overall this work would benefit from some light restorations, not signed or inscribed verso, housed in an ornate gilt gesso frame which is in good order.
