A 19th century French eight day striking musical pillar clock, the gilt brass mechanism fitted with chapter ring and subsidiary seconds dial with grid iron pendulum, supported on turned rosewood columns, the base having a musical works playing eight airs on a 4.5 inch cylinder, all under a glass dome, clock 21.75in., with dome 27.5in.

Some even dulling of the gilt brass work most notably across the top of the movement and around the dials, a little rubbing to the silvering of the main dial, movement going but not tested for time keeping, rectangular rosewood base to the clock a little faded, sits on a rosewood musical plinth that is darker in tone, with splitting running through the veneers, mechanism connecting the movement to the musical base inoperative and musical base appears to be ceased up but is complete, not tested.
