There are areas of black speckling in occasional areas all over the sauceboat, there is a shallow splinter chip to the lower lip on the left hand side of the dolphins mouth and there is some slight pale caramel discolouration to some occasional patches on the scaling and tail and a slight unglazed patch on the interior, there is also evidence of some crazing to the glaze where it has pooled on the interior which does not appear on the exterior.
