Large oil on canvas in honest original untouched condition, canvas remains tight, paint overall has a slightly dull finish and may well benefit from a clean, a diagonal white line showing near the lower right corner what appears to be where a decorator has strayed onto the work, a further small white line across to the left, not signed, slightly slipped in its original plain wood frame, inscribed on the back of the canvas and on the back stretcher, original old title label at the top of the frame, Royal Academy label to the left and Bourlay label on the central stretcher, one patch in the canvas towards the lower left corner presumably some sort of hole or small tear which has been fairly effectively retouched. Overall an interesting work that will restore to very good effect.
