There is a slight kink to the wrist of his left arm, it is possible there may be an old repair, there is a minor casting imperfection under the rim of his hat, there is a slightly flat area on the beak of the bird, there are two splits to the timber on the platform of the plinth and some wear to the gilt decoration on the edge of the plinth and he is lacking an item in his right hand, otherwise in good condition.
