A Chinese ivory tusk figure of Lu Dongbin, late 19th / early 20th century, holding a sword in both hands, with armour beneath his robes, hardwood stand, total height 30.5cm

Is made of elephant ivory. At the very top of the figure there is a tapering hole where there would originally been an ivory plug, otherwise in good condition with some old glue to the base of the figure and to the wood stand, the figure weights 1.04kg.
