A Chinese hongmu 'dragon' picture frame and a separate hongmu easel, c.1900, the picture frame carved and pierced with two confronting dragons chasing a flaming pearl above fruiting vines, enclosing a machine embroidery, total height 62cm, width 26cm

The dragon carved frame has a little bit of filler to each of the corners otherwise generally in good condition and the separate easel has a loss to the bamboo carving on the crest and a spare slot in the back upright support which does not appear to have anything lacking, otherwise generally reasonable condition.
