A pair of large Japanese Kutani porcelain ovoid vases, Meiji period, each painted to the central band with cranes, pheasants and other birds amid flowers, the shoulders with dragon and object mon and the neck with phoenixes, nine character seal marks to base, 36.5cm

Slight wear to gilding on both vases. One vase has some slight firing imperfections to the rim. Otherwise in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks.
