Typically painted with bats, lotus flowers and tendrils on a blue enamelled ground.

The cover has been broken in half with rivet repairs to the underside and some very slight flaking to the enamels and glaze around the break a slight chip to the edge which has been later filled, minor scratching to the interior of the bowl, very slight wear to the gilding on the handles otherwise good condition.
