Estimate £1,500-2,000
Table of good rich original dark golden oak colour, a few short splits running from the edges inwards approx 3 inches or so, the worst one running a bit further nearer 12 to 15 inches, top of the table is 0.25 inch veneer which is just starting to lift at the inner edges, all four leaves appear to be of the same age but do not match the veneer and have a differently moulded edge, legs with signs of fair wear and tear, the tip of one toe is cleanly broken away but still present.
Chairs have all seen fair wear over the years, all are showing rubbing across the top rails, one has lost the tip of its carved chicoree to one side, frames show fair wear and tear and splashing around the bases, but all are solidly joined together, upholstery is very distressed leather probably original with horse hair bursting through from the seats and the backs.
