Both prints in honest untouched condition, these original works from 1901 have been laid down onto backing boards as can be seen in our photographs, there is a slight hint of acid staining at the extreme edges of the images and one or two small dirt and fox spots scattered throughout, image of the cavalry man has a horizontal acid stain running just through the legs of the horse and can be more clearly seen at the sides beyond the print itself, the other image has a similar horizontal stain but less evident although does have some slightly more notable foxing, both are housed in their original glazed reeded oak frames, no labels or inscriptions verso.
