An Art Deco walnut dining room suite, includes a stylish sideboard with central cupboard doors between bow end doors and an extending dining table with integral extra leaf and eight matching dining chairs, with white leatherette upholstery, table extended 7ft x 3ft x 2ft 6in.

Please see Dreweatts, Bristol Auction Rooms Lot 464 30th September 2003 where an identical suite was sold described as a Celerit dining room suite with a patent no. 344984 granted to A H Chilver of Barking Essex, 3rd January 1930.

Table has an area of damage to the top approx. 2.5 x 2 inches oval, other scratches, knocks and marks all over and signs of use, general fading in places, two of the chairs have damage to their back, and other numerous marks, veneer loss and marks around some of the legs.
Sideboard appears to be generally reasonable with one or two minor areas of veneer loss and some fading to the front. Front left foot has a small shrinkage split through it, right hand cupboard door has the lock missing.
