Oil on an old wooden panel, in fair to good condition, rather dark in the foreground and to the lower left corner, probably cleaned at some stage, the grain of the panel showing through the lighter parts of the sky, top right corner has what looks like an overpainted short split, otherwise fair order, apparently unsigned, in a 19th century gilt gesso frame which is a little tatty and bears an attribution plaque to the artist, further old attribution inscribed verso.
