Lot 929 , A George III gold keywind pocket watch by Jos. Cording, Holburn, London,
A George III gold keywind pocket watch by Jos. Cording, Holburn, London, with yellow Roman dial and signed movement numbered 12781.
Estimate £400-600
The back of the case is quite worn with a couple of minor dings and the gauge of the gold is very thin. There is also a repair to the inside of the rear case at 6 o'clock (visible solder). This repair is also visible from the exterior. There is a small dent at this point as well. Unsure whether there was a dust cap at some point?? The watch isn't ticking, but the balance wheel rotates when shaken. We cannot guarantee any of the watches to be in working order.
