A Japanese plique a jour enamel ovoid vase, c.1910-20, finely worked in silver wire with butterflies on a purple and clear graduated ground, silver rims, the base engraved with a three character signature, height 12.5cm, hairline cracks

The silver base is detached where the old glue has come away but is still present, there are fine cracks to the enamel all over and some occasional scratching to the enamel on the exterior.
