Unusually painted on to the textured side of hardboard, giving a canvas weave effect, this work looks a little dirty and would certainly benefit from a clean but otherwise no other faults noted, signed lower right, in a rather ornate gilt scroll frame which is now looking rather tatty and is damaged in the top left corner.
