A late 19th century French gilt brass and champleve enamel hour repeating carriage alarum clock, with floral decorated case and movement striking on a gong, 4.75in., with travelling case

Original gilt finish worn away on the raised parts of the case along with some oxidisation spots elsewhere, enamel looks good with no sign of any losses, face and dial good, glass good. Movement numbered 675, going but not tested for timekeeping, repeat not functioning properly. Case numbered to match movement, in leather travelling case which is a little scuffed, no key available.
