A Chinese export ivory rectangular box, second quarter 19th century, the cover and side panels carved in high relief with reserves of figures amid pavilions and trees on a ground of auspicious objects and diaper, 25cm.

Some of the side panels are a little bowed, some of the joints have been re-glued, slight green staining around the lock escutcheon and hinges.
