William Moorcroft for James Macintyre. An 18th century pattern two handled vase, two similar ewers and a gesso faience vase, the vase with shallow rim chip, the pair of ewers with re-stuck necks, all with printed mark and green W Moorcroft inscribed marks, 20cm and 19.5cm, the gesso faience double gourd shaped vase with blue and white faience flowers and gilt scale pattern neck, brown printed mark, 25cm, neck re-stuck

James Macintyre blue and gilt vase: The rim/neck of the vase has smashed into three pieces and been glued back together, the largest break being 35mm from top of rim with a subsidiary crack that extends a further 15mm. scratching and wear to the gilding on the neck of the vase
Occasional instances of wear and losses/imperfections (some of which may have happened during the manufacture) to the tube lined decoration on the main body of the vase. Typical crazing to the glaze and occasional minor surface scratches to the glaze.
'18th century' pattern twin handled vase: 20mm crack under one of the handles, 10mm x 10mm outer rim chip, star shaped crack running along the inside base edge not visible to the outside. 20mm x 10mm area near the base of the vase where the glaze feels and looks patchy, 10mm above this is the first of several discoloured grazes to the surface of the glaze, the largest of which is 40mm. Significant wear to the gilding on the handles, some instances of wear to the rest of the gilding, some occasional surface scratching to the glaze.
Pair of '18th century' pattern ewers: Both have had their rims smashed into multiple pieces and been crudely stuck back together. Both vases display typical crazing to the glaze, although one ewer has substantially more crazing and has slightly discoloured. Occasional instances of wear and scratching to the glaze to both ewers. Both ewers display traces of dirt and other residue and need a clean.
