Pencil on off white paper which is showing some undulation and thought not to be laid down, paper is somewhat discoloured, one or two small fox marks on the work, fairly recent plain card mount and glazed gilt frame with a few chips around the edges, Roland, Browse & Delbanco label verso, however the details are mostly erased and the later Marino Marini has been inscribed in ballpoint. File of related paperwork is attached including photocopies of the Bede Gallery 1980 Exhibition Sixty Works from The Roland Collection showing no.25 as the Marino Marini head of a man, Dr Roland bought this work from the Roland Browse & Delbanco Christmas Present Exhibition in 1968 for £90, no.144.
