Oil on original canvas which remains tight, stretcher marks showing around the edges and vertically through the centre, two old patches applied to the reverse, one through the left side boys head, the other lower left corner, both retouched to good effect, paint looks rather dirty and would benefit from a clean, signed at 6 o'clock, overall once cleaned should restore to good effect, in a later simulated burr wood frame which suffers from minor scuffs and dents.
