Oil on canvas relined within the past 10 - 20 years, canvas still good and tight, paint would benefit from a very light clean, fine but stable lines of craquelure running through much of the work, signed and dated lower right, in probably the original ornate gilt gesso scroll frame which is now suffering from a few losses, this work was offered for sale by Bonham approx. a year ago at a considerably higher estimate.
