Two small Chinese Kraak blue and white barbed rim bowls, early 17th century, each painted with a bird amid rockwork within taotie mask borders, 14.5 and 15cm, one cracked

The more brightly blue coloured bowl has a hairline crack extending from the rim across most of the cavetto, a later pierced hole in the foot and typical with encrustation / fritting around the foot.
The second bowl is in good condition with only minor scratching to the glaze.
