An Art Deco sapphire, natural pearl and diamond necklace, circa 1920, of negligée design, centring on a natural pearl of brown tint within a square frame of single-cut diamonds, suspending a pair of asymmetrical knife wire pendants set with natural pearls, terminating in a yellow sapphire and a blue sapphire respectively, each within a similar square frame of single-cut diamonds, to a fine link chain necklace threaded with natural pearls, necklace length 32cm, pendant length 5cm, applied with a plaque stamped Tiffany & Co., clasp with partial maker's mark, chain with French assay mark for platinum

Accompanied by report no. 25703 from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory, stating that the sapphires, weighing approximately 2.40 and 2.00 carats respectively, are of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin, with no indications of heat treatment, and the pearls measuring approximately 4.4-7.1mm are natural, saltwater
