A Chinese white jade figure of a monkey trainer, 18th century, the standing figure with a monkey on his back, the stone of good even tone with some occasional white mottling, 7.9cm high, wood stand

Condition:
Natural inclusions and veining to the stone. The monkey has a docked tail which may be original but could have been reshaped, there is a minute neck to the hem of his trousers, otherwise in good condition.
