(otherwise all complete), head and tailpieces decorations, decorated initial letters, black letter. Signatures - A8, A- Z8,Aa-Zz8, Aaa-Sss8 (lacks Eee3, as noted above); contemp. calf with brass mounts (distressed), 4to. Imprinted at London, by Bonham Norton, and John Bill... 1620 i.e.1621. Following main text - Two Right Profitable and Fruitfull Concordances...Collected by R.F.H. (A-K8, L2 complete). Imprinted at London by Bonham Norton, and John Bill...1622. Condition:
binding worn, esp. on spine, with 5th panel of leather missing, 5 brass corner mounts (of 8) and central brass missing, 3 leather clasps (ex4) are present (but lacking straps). Usual stains etc. intermittently throughout, though in a few places obscuring words; only a few marginal tears (mostly closed), Ff2 with minimal loss. No e/ps at front and only p/down at back. The whole is preceded by a defective BCP. (not uncommon) ends with a defective Sternhold and Hopkins Psalmes (not called for by Herbert).
