Polyphon Supply Co. Ltd. 84 Oxford Street London, W.’, overall height 207cm, width 68cm, depth 40cm, together with winding handle, and a quantity of old pennies required for operation
£800-1,200

Condition:
Coin-operation and musical mechanism currently working well but obviously cannot be guaranteed; comb appears good, see image; with winding crank handle, probably original; attached labels suggest this was sold (and perhaps restored) by John Cowderoy of Eastbourne; complete with ten (not nine) 19.5-inch discs, most lightly rust-pitted. Walnut case with good colour, light rubs in usual places; with a key to upper door and a key to the drawer but no key to record storage cupboard. 14th image shows an embossed brass plaque but unknown where this might have been attached if it is related to this Polyphon. Also included are a number of compatible coins.
