Crack upward from bottom-centre, clearly visible, approx. 12cm and patched rear-side, images 3 and 9; considerably crazed, particularly at right border where the crazing may soon flake, image 4; indistinctly signed ..ope and dated 1899, lower-left, image 6. Factory mark of a ship central to the design, image 5 but characteristic DR not evidenced. Interestingly with incised initials L.W bottom-right of rear-side, image 8; cemented patch to the crack, image 9.
