A Chinese pale celadon jade oval plaque, 17th/18th century, mounted on a late Qing gilt copper jar, the oblong pale celadon jade plaque carved in high relief and open work with gourds, tendrils and leaves, the gilt cover engraved and chased with lotus flowers, tendrils and leaves, total height 17cm

Condition:
The jade plaque has a tiny chip to one of the leaves near the edge and some natural inclusions to the stone. The gilt copper jar has some scuffing and wear Otherwise in reasonable condition.
