A late Victorian hardstone cameo and pearl pendant, late 19th century, set with an oval onyx cameo depicting a classical woman in profile wearing a laurel crown, within a border of pearls, to a similar pearl-set bail, on a fancy link gold chain, pendant length 3.2cm, chain length 48cm, chain stamped 9K, gross weight 11 grams, pearls untested

Condition:
In good condition, minor wear, a couple of small chips and a small fissure to cameo around base of neck (face and hair in good condition), but only shallow and not passing through stone. Setting of cameo unmarked, most likely gold with additional gilding/surface treatment common to era but not possible to guarantee.
