A pair of Chinese embroidered silk ‘bird’ panels, in mother-of-pearl inlaid hongmu frames, late 19th/early 20th century, the first decorated with in-flight wading birds, the second with pheasants on rocks and other birds, including frame 101.5 cm x 33cm, faded, small losses to frames

Condition:
There are some small losses to the mother-of-pearl in life particularly on the corners of the frames, three of the back boards have been replaced on the frames. The embroidered silk is a little faded and discoloured in places, otherwise in reasonable condition
