A 18th century long cross stitch sampler, converted later in the early 19th century into a bible bag and then later framed. The sampler worked in rows of alternate religious verse and floral embroidery. The sampler then bound with red silk and converted to a bible bag. Both sides of bag 26cm long x 23cm wide.
Condition- very minor fading one side, no holes. The bag is able to be seen both sides as is mounted between glass and is reversible.
