A railway timepiece (a.f.), the painted dial with; ’B.R.(S) John Walker 1, South Molton St. London 638.B’, indicating Southern Railway use, later repainted for Southern Region, with fusee eight day movement in a partially original case, with a later laminated blockboard and plywood front case glued onto the remaining part of the original case, 10 inch dial, with pendulum. Condition - poor, numerous defects and replacement sections to case, veneer missing, etc. The movement not tested for timekeeping.
