A stunning vintage ‘Four Seasons’ silk brocade wedding kimono, bought in 2004 from Masae Shibamura, in Tokyo. The kimono made from soft silk brocade, in pastel shades of graduating pink, lilac and purple, designed with branches of flowering blossom, both embroidered with fine silk highlights, amongst gold watery swirls and tiny exotic coloured embroidered birds some in flight, the kimono then interlined and lined in a fine brightly coloured pink silk lining. The kimono is offered with a unique black stand for display, length of kimono 189cm. Condition - as new, the bottom of the kimono still has the cover on it it was bought with to keep it clean.
