A Japanese Satsuma blue ground square koro and cover, Meiji period, painted to each side with rakan, samurai, ladies and other figures in garden pavilions, the pierced domed cover surmounted by a flower finial, gilt character mark to base, 15cm high

Condition:
Typical minor glaze and potting imperfections, some slight wear to the gilding on the cover, some grubbiness to the applied finial of the cover. Cover is a slightly wobbly fit where it’s probably warped slightly in firing, otherwise in good condition.
