A 19th century Brussels Point de gaze needle lace stole 228cm long x 37cm wide, made from two lengths of the same patterned lace, invisibly joined along the centre of the stole, the raw end edges carefully finished with matching with Point de gaze. Condition - there is a small brown stain along one edge, and a small snag in the netting, to be expected with age and use.
