David Smith was born in Lowestoft and exhibited around the world. He wrote several books and travelled as an artist on the QEII, with the British Antarctic Survey and painted the lighthouses for Trinity House.

Condition:
Oil on original canvas in good untouched condition, some light dirt marking and a very light surface scuff towards the top left corner, title inscribed on Exhibition label applied to the mount, original aluminium frame, artist's details inscribed verso.
