A mid Victorian ormolu mounted walnut pietra dura top centre table of rectangular form, the top decorated with an arrangement of specimen marbles, mostly in geometric forms but including stylised fleur de lys, on turned tapered legs with H stretcher, 112cm wide, 60cm deep, 73cm high

Condition:
Overall in fair but slightly neglected condition, in the main the walnut is of a good rich brown tone, ormolu looks complete but now starting to oxidise to a dull finish, central pietra dura with a few small losses near the corners but otherwise looking good, underframe dirty and faded with one lower leg in particular heavily bleached and wormed, quite probably was raised on ormolu feet or castors in the past.
