Mostly good condition., 1834 inner hinges cracked, 1837 front inner hinge cracked, this and three others sl. wear spine head / tail, vol.35 neat spine repairs; some dozen plts. with foxing (mostly marginal) and 2/3 pict. titles also affected slightly; lacks plt. 1834 (p.104); mostly engraved by William Daniell (1840 by the Findens); bindings uniform - save 1839 (green not brown leather, and different designs); 2 vols. with half titles (some others probably not called for?); 5 vols. with adverts. at end; most with ownership (some contemp.), additionally 1837 with armorial bkplt. of Sir Thomas Hesketh Bart., Rufford Hall, Lancs., and the later Easton Neston shelf label
